I am a freelance journalist and marketing/communications professional from Birmingham, Alabama. For more than 25 years, I have covered events, interviewed personalities, and written about an array of topics for more than 30 magazines, newspapers, and websites. My work has appeared in nationally distributed magazines such as Tailgater Magazine, Industrial Machinery Digest, Business Xpansion Journal, and Upper 90 Magazine, as well as regional publications like Good Grit, Portico Magazine, B-Metro Magazine, Birmingham Magazine, and Discover St. Clair Magazine. 

I began my career in the late 90s as a reporter and sports writer for several small newspapers around the Southeast. Recently, I returned to my roots working as a freelance reporter for The Trussville Tribune and Starnes Media, publishers of Cahaba Sun, Homewood Star, Village Living, Vestavia Voice, 280 Living, and Hoover Sun. 

I left full-time journalism in 1999 to begin a career in marketing and communications and I am currently the Marketing Manager for Automation Personnel Services, a staffing agency headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
